Employees and friends give back on 14th annual LyondellBasell Global Care Day

LyondellBasell employees will participate in community service around the world on Saturday, April 13.The activities are part of Global Care Day, LyondellBasell’s worldwide day of community service taking place in 2013 for the 14th consecutive year.  The worldwide event inspires employees to invest their time and talent to address specific community concerns.  Volunteers will complete projects in 67 communities in 20 countries in 2013.

LyondellBasell Mansfield volunteers will team up with the city to participate in the Mansfield 5K and Park cleanup of Katherine Rose Memorial Park. Proceeds raised from the fun run will benefit the Trinity Habitat for Humanity & Wesley Mission Center.

Saturday, April 13, 2013; 8 - noon -- Best photo op time 9-11 a.m.

WHO

Approximately 25 volunteers from LyondellBasell’s Mansfield Plant including employees, family members and friends; and volunteers.

Katherine Rose Memorial Park features a ½ mile, lighted, concrete walking/biking trail, four covered pavilions with picnic tables, grills, basketball and volleyball courts, horseshoe pits and all-accessible playground. www.mansfield-tx.gov
