Radiator Connections

Polybutene-1 resins are widely used in radiator connections in Europe and Asia. Excellent creep resistance at elevated temperatures combined with high flexibility and light weight make this product the technically preferred solution for this application. Polybutene-1 piping systems are corrosion-free, show low heat loss and can be installed fast and easily. For improved aesthetics, LyondellBasell has developed Akoalit PB 4268 white that matches perfectly the white color paint found in most domestic, office and public buildings. LyondellBasell customers have developed radiators based on Akoalit PB 4268 white that provide a perfect complement to connecting pipes prepared from the same resin.
