Customer woven and nonwoven fabrics manufactured using our Moplen and Pro-fax PP resins, as well as our specialty PP and Catalloy based resins, are used in furniture production. According to our customers, the resulting applications possess good tear and abrasion resistance and dimensional stability. Typical applications include the inside lining of furniture, bedding and mattresses.
Manufacturers of roofing (geomembranes), acoustic insulation and house wrapping also utilize nonwovens produced using LyondellBasell resins. Nonwovens producers select our resins for their good barrier performance, lightweight properties, abrasion and aging resistance, product homogeneity, high output capability and reliable spinnability.
