In honor of National Foster Care Month, two of the La Porte Complex employee networks organized a successful collection of hygiene products. The LYB Inspiring Females Together (LIFT) and Black Employees Leading, Influencing, Empowering, Valuing, and Embracing (BELIEVE) employee networks spearheaded this initiative benefiting Jane Around The World and their Beth-Haran House. The items collected provided essential hygiene products for local young women aging out of foster care.
Throughout May, LyondellBasell (LYB) employees collected a wide range of women's hygiene products, culminating in a truck full of supplies. Jane Around The World expressed gratitude for the contributions, noting that the hygiene supplies will enhance the lives of those in need by bringing hope and dignity.
The LIFT network is dedicated to creating an inspiring work environment where women at LyondellBasell feel valued, heard, and supported in their personal and professional growth. The BELIEVE network, focuses on Black Employees Leading, Influencing, Empowering, Valuing, and Embracing. Together, these networks exemplify the commitment of LYB to foster inclusivity and positively impact the community.
